A Foolish Heart
When tears fall from my eyes,
With a silent crash they hit the ground.
I search for comfort in the skies;
I look for you- but you’re nowhere around.
I thought that Wishes made Dreams come true,
So, I started to believe in you.
In my every breath, there’s a prayer for you and me;
That the love we share might one day be free.
At times I’ve cried at our distance apart,
Seeking my solace in the unity of a heart.
Oh! that Fate can be so cruel and yet so kind!
Why must the one I love be so hard to find?
I eagerly await the promise one golden day,

But maybe my Thoughts, my Dreams are too much;
That magic to me is to you an empty touch.

Than to see my Dreams slowly die.
