Pieces
Pieces of this life of mine,
so delicate and so loved,
you showed me life with you
and you showed me life without you.
With you I feel good about life;
without you I am empty inside.
You showed me many ways
love can be expressed
towards each other.
And that means a lot to me.
I've never told you
how much you mean to me.
But, deep down inside this heart of mine
there's so much gratitude towards you.
What I am trying to say is thank you
for everything you did for me...
including loving me.
