While I was on the 'yatch'
I looked at my watch
Seeing the time go by
As the birds fly
Here I sit waiting for you
But, not knowing what to do
It was getting late
And I wondered if you forgot our date
So I called from a phone
But, no one was home
Then I thought you were on your way
To make this night a wonderful day
So, I waited happily as ever
Waiting for us to get together
I waited longer than I had
And now I was getting sad
It was time for me to leaave the place
But that day I hadn't seen your smiling face
So, I thought of finding you
But then if I only knew
Until I was on my way
I saw in your driveway
Two policemen waiting as time flew
But without saying, i already knew
Now I see you were taken away from me
But why did this have to be
Why did you have to die
To make me cry
