All though we say the tears will never stop falling,
We know in the long run they will.
It seems the hurt will never stop pounding,
But sooner or later that will also end.
Close your eyes and dream
of stopping the heartache he caused you.
I know it hurts,
But don’t worry about him anymore.
Worry about you.
If he picked a different girl, then you can have a different guy.
He is just a guy. I know it's hard to believe.
Where once he was everything, well, now he is just a guy.

For I have been through this too.
Wipe that tear from your eye
And give yourself a smile. And say it's ok.
Look at yourself in the mirror and tell the person you see
That she is a beautiful and wonderful lady. Believe it too,
