A Rose Again Alone
A rose sits all alone,
like a leaf on a tree.
A silent tear runs down my cheek,
for I've lost you and me.
It started with a wink,
and ended with a tear,
Blossomed with a kiss,
and burned because of fear.
You promised you wouldn't be like him,
yet you left me all alone,
Walked away with a shrug my way.
My eyes filled with tears,
My heart all forlon.
