They say friends come
And friends will go
But I guess I didn't even know
That you were thru it all.
You were by my side thru night and day.
While I was sick in the hospital
When no one came, not even my so called friends

When I couldn't sleep
Because I had a bad dream
Thought monsters were under my bed.
You came and they all went away.
You were my hero...
I guess what I'm trying to say
Is that you're a friend that will always stay.
Even on those rainy days
You make sure there's light.

when you said you have that one, special friend
