I Am Anew!!!
And so my life will go on
I will let go of all the trivial aspects in my life.
I will close the door behind me,
yes that door with all the sorrow that was in it.
I will learn to love again,
I will be stronger,
I will glow again,
I will laugh again.
I will not cry because there
will not be anything to make me sad.
I will hold my head up high
I will walk with dignity,
I will respect myself, most definitely,
And so my life will go on
I will learn to be me
The person I always wanted to be
I will not have to put up a front anymore
I can stretch my arms out and touch the sky
Until I can't stretch no more.
I am going to sing my songs as loud as I can
And baby, I will sing!!
I love myself again, and I made all this happen
No one else but me
I put back my strenth and power into my mind
And nothing can hold me back.
And so...My life will go on...
