Reunion
After all these months without seeing you,
there is happiness inside when I finally see you.
My heart started to beat so fast,
I thought I was spinning, getting ready to crash.
All the things I wanted to say and do with you
at that time I could not do.
It must be because of the long time without seeing you.
We sat down to talk,
then we went for a walk.
Walking on the soft green grass,
sitting down to rest, talking about the past.
Looking in your beautiful brown eyes,
telling you how much I've missed seeing you.
Holding your soft hands,
telling you how much I've missed touching you.
It has been a long time since you left.
It felt like you took my last breath.
You me left behind without a clue,
like a blind man walking in circles
not knowing what to do.
You've meant so much to me,
sometimes I feel like I can't go on,
can't go through life without you.
Sometimes I would think you are the only girl for me.
But that time has come once again
when you have to leave me.
I don't want you to go away from me
because of the fear of never seeing you again.
Before you left I made a wish,
before you left you gave me a kiss.
My wish was to see you again before my life ends.
As I watched you get up and walk away,
tears started to rush down my face, running away.
It felt like you had abandoned me and left me for dead.
It felt like you took a piece of heart and tore it apart.
You still will always be in my heart, even when we are apart.
