Dreams
When I go to bed at night,
My dreams of you are a wonderful sight.
You are dressed your best and looking so fine
That is when I'm proud to say that you are mine.
In my dreams, you smell so good
You smell manly, yet sensitive, the way you should.
You ask me to dance and I say, "yes indeed"
That's when you say, "Only if you can keep up with me"
My dreams are the best when you are in them with me
Especially when we watch the roaring sea.
You are so romantic, in your own way
You make me want to be be with you forever to stay.
But, when I awaken, and come to see you
It isn't the same and you give me the shoe
Our lives together, used to be like my dreams
But once you broke my heart, we are apart- it seems.
It is hard to let you go, like we aren't a team
if only my life were as easy as my dream
