All Colors Seem the Same

By: Bill

Some men are born to hate,
For hatred’s all they knew,
They hate all different races,
Be they black or wops or Jew.

And these lost and foolish souls,
Could be your doctor, lawyer… rigger,
But their common bond remains,
They simply hate the nigger.

But racism always starts,
In the hearts of ignorant men,
Who won’t look below the surface,
All they see is colored skin.

But regardless of these people,
To God, we are as one,
We live and die like mortals,
Death stealing father and his son.

But all we need is friendship,
Tolerance, love and touch,
And you’ll find that colored skin,
Doesn’t matter all that much.

So don’t judge your fellow man,
By the pigments they contain,
Admire character, deeds and friendship,
Then all colors will seem the same.

(I dedicate this poem to all the different
races on this wonderful planet... after all,
we're all just people)
