Insecurity
I become speechless
Whenever you're near
And say stupid things
When you try to be serious
Believe me, I don't mean to
It's just the insecurity in me
You pull me near
Try to make a move
But all I can do
Is make some stupid joke
That ruins the moment
I get so scared
Not knowing what to do
I panic and look for an escape
It becomes so frustrating
Knowing we both want this to happen
Yet my fear stands between us
