Love is hard to hide
When you read this poem
I wonder what you feel
when I wrote this for you
I knew my emotions were real
I like to write poems
it's how I express my soul
but you may never know
who's heart it was you stole
For I'm such a dummy,
an idiot, you might call
I always try to talk to you,
but shyness is my downfall
If I could ever be with you,
I know I would treat you right
I would do anything
just to hold you tight
I know what you are thinking,
"This guy is a total jerk."
but I propose to you a question:
do you think it might ever work?
Ask yourself that inquiry,
take it deep down inside,
for I don't know what to do next,
my feelings are getting hard to hide
