Today I realized,
what is true.
I was there,
there for you.
When you needed,
a hand to hold.
My love was there,
yours grew old.
I never thought,
that this is how it would end.
I trusted you with my life,
you were my friend.
Finally I realized,
that you're wrong.
The pain you caused,
made me strong.
The words you've said,
brought no good.
when you were alone,
by you I stood.
Today you showed me,
who you really are.
Your body was there,
your heart was far.
You took for granted what you had.
You were like my brother,
my mom and dad.
You were like,
the other half of me.
The half I thought,
would always be.
Then suddenly,
that half was gone.
It vanished, our relationship,
is done.
I won't,
take such pain anymore.
Although the pain that's already there,
is hard to ignore.
Why did you change?
Where did you go?
You used to care,
