Carol
Carol is now an angel,
up in Heaven so they say.
It was just ten years ago,
that God took her away.
I look upon her grave,
where once her body lay.
Then the tears start flowing,
and there's nothing I can say.
Maybe, if angels can read poems,
she'll see what I have to say.
And know I still love her,
and miss her more each day.
We will soon be back together,
in that big house up above.
I'm waiting for that moment,
when we again can share our love.
Carol, I hated that day,
we both were meant to part.
But, you're never far away from me,
I still hold you in my heart.
I know you're now with friends.
All your pain has gone away.
Just remember I love you,
and I'll be with you soon someday.
