An enchanting night was what I remembered,
not just filled cups of life to brim, but many more...
one hand holding tiny candle with flickering light,
never once had I wished of its flight.
Let this path be the final one, my heart wishes.
Occasions that parted us; blindfolded the urge to bind.
Voyage of shy longings journeyed to anticipated joys.
Eventually on that silent night,
solidified sands of dreams to shimmering tenderness.
Every now and then, two hearts laughing with joy
drove away my past hollow soul.
I seek truth & with it came doubts;
shuddering coldness covered in a pair of warmths
only to discover the true meaning of my new love.
Now again, fate played the Cupid part.
Small tickings in soft belly accompanied
unsurpassed confusion; only to be patched by surprises
the night my eyes refused companionship.
All smiles, hope that faith will last
newfound hands so soft, caressed fluttering hearts.
Thanking fate, which you too believed in.
