Confession

By: Alyssa Anne Vitry

Through the hours of every day
I find my thoughts far, far away
I can't recall, nor do I dare
To point my finger through the air.

No blame I give, but to my own
My heart feels and sees alone
My mistakes are mine, a cloak I wear
These problems arose with you, my dear.

These problems are worth it, the rules and regrets
Times spent with you, without hidden secrets
I care for you deeply, so please understand
Your words don't affect me, as much as your hands.

Cry when you're saddend, and laugh when you're gay
Please yell when frustrated, don't push me away
This is my confession, of what will always be
Words, which are honest, and come straight from me.
