IT'S TIME

Although I love you dearly
it's time I let you go,
but before I say goodbye,
there are things you need to know.

I tried my best to love you,
but it just wasn't good enough.
I tried my best to give you what you need,
but it's her you need and love.

So, before you walk away,
softly kiss my cheek goodbye.
Then quickly walk away...
I won't let you see me cry.
