Back Where I Came
As I lie under the water, I feel it rush around me
Up above the surface I hear their laughter
Would the laughter be the same if to the surface I never came?
Why not go back the same way I was born?
By that question I have been well torn
The water holds the deep
Where the hurt of his love will not seep
Where the lies I will never again hear
Because the pain he left I can't bear
I gulp in the precious water
For no more will I be daddy's little daughter
I say goodbye to the world
Because to this place I was hurled
But now I leave the same way I came
I leave without this pain
