Inside His Mind

By: SweetGirl

Sometimes I have to be a control-freak
it HAS to be MY way
It doesn’t matter right or wrong
or the consequence to pay.

Sometimes I’m like a psycho
as I stalk your every sound
And when I feel I’m losing my grip
I drag you to the ground.

I have to be your mother, show my sensitive side
to build your trust up high
So I can blind you with maternal love
when I look at you and lie.

I have to be your father
strong words to keep you in line
To blind you with parental love
so you think everything is fine.

I have to be your guardian
it’s hard telling where you’d be
Without my supervision, without my power
without me.

I have to be your enemy
to teach you lessons learned
"That's what you get" for thinking that way
when all your thoughts have turned.

I have to be your diary
tell me all your secret thoughts
So I can use them against you one day
in all my secret plots.

I have to be a liar
there’s no room for truth anymore
The greater the lie that I can create
the greater the total score.

Let’s talk about who YOU have to be
and this is what I plan
For you to be what I want you to be
after all, I AM your man.
