Just A Dream

The joy and happiness I felt
when you, I first did see
For I could tell immediately
that you were meant for me

You touched my cheek and kissed my lips
ran fingers through my hair
You held me, oh, so close to you
and whispered that you care

But, oh, the joy was so short lived
though truly real it seemed
To think this never happened
to find it all was dreamed
