Again Someday
He left her to cry all alone.
He said, 'true feelings were never shown.'
He said, 'for unspoken reasons why,
He had to leave her alone to cry.'
He said, 'feelings were still in his heart.
But, for the time being they must be apart.'
She said, 'afterall she understood.'
But she didn't; though she wished she could.
She walked in the rain,
Wallowing in pain
Wishing she knew why
He had said goodbye.
He never looked in her gentle eyes
Not even when she asked him- why.
He simply knew how to walk away.
And lie and say.. "Again Someday."
