We were together for a while when I told you the news,
somehow I felt proud.
I knew that was the day we wouldn't be friends
but today was the day I had to end.
The thoughts and moments I had in mind
but the feelings were no more felt inside
the kissing and hugging were so sweet
but today I had to tell you to let go of the relief.
