I Love You in a High Key
I love this girl; she is all I've ever had,
and when I asked her out she said, NO!
I make her feel bad. Well, what's the problem, I asked,
and she said there is no problem
and I kind of got mad and felt like a dumb ass.
I told her I love her and she said the same.
So what's the problem, am I to blame?
I came up with this idea. Maybe it will work,
or maybe she will just think I am a jerk.
I had no idea, so I asked my mom,
and she said write her a song.
I did my best and now to put the song to the test.
I sang the song in a very high key,
hoping that her love will come straight to me!
