Reach for the stars
So many people have told me
to reach for the stars
to put my hands up high,
and reach for the sky
"If you try your best you can"
they all say
but I've tried so hard
and i'm barly there,
the only thing i catch
is handfuls of air
is my best not enough?
can i only go so far?
or are my goals set too high?
okay for others
but if I try, I'll fall
Stand on my toes
and scream to the world,
i lose control
i'm afraid to fall,
afraid to lose
afraid to choose
is it too much to ask,
to try and to touch?
or is it just a theory,
being able to touch stars,
it seems all around me
people do,
it must be a magic,
A magic i don't have!!!
