I only want to have the courage
To say the things
I've held inside for so long
And be able to see the smile
On your beautiful face
And know that I belong.

I know I will never get that far
I know you will never feel
The things I feel for you
I wish somehow
It didn't have to be this way
And our love was forever true.

I know if you give me
The chance that I crave
I will make you so happy
With a love so real

Who can set your heart free.

The strength to say
