So you're what beauty looks like,
You're the joy I've never known,
You are the stars that shine at night,
You are the rose when it has grown,
Yet somehow I never saw that,
And for so long I never knew,
But now it seems so simple,
Beauty looks like you.

And if I never took my eyes off you,
Then surely God has blessed,
For the beauty that I always saw
And that was you; my soul caressed,
And although I've witnessed beauty
In the sunset's crimson hue,
It's colours ne'er compared to thee,
For beauty looked like you.
