Empty Promises
Men don't realize the empty promises can hurt.
It's senseless and cruel.
I can't believe, I fell for it again
I was such a fool.
I wait all day for it
but I end up sitting, looking out the window and thinking as I sit.
Why do empty promises exist?
Once you believe, it is such a risk.
At the time men think it is petty and small.
but don't realize that they let you down with a great fall.
I am not to picky about some promises that are made.
I tend to just forget them and let them fade.
But when some promises involve feeling
It takes more than just a kiss for your heart to start healing.
So when someone makes you a promise
BEWARE !!!
You can take that chance... if you DARE!
Maybe one day empty promises will be gone forever,
but in my case; that will probably be never!!!!!
