Purity Given

I gave her me in every way
I told her all there was to say
She would not talk about her thoughts
She turned her head and walked away
She wanted all I had to give
I granted that so love could live

I quenched her thirst and her desire
I set the fleeing love afire
The feeling was so strong with us
I gave her that to bring her higher
Trust that she would stay with me
Trust that we would always be

I cannot feel her love inside
I can't give up, I will still try
To make her see that I'm the one
I will not let what could be- die
To those who say that she's not right
You have not seen her in true light
