BEST FRIENDS
You and I were best friends
such a long time ago,
Then what I did let it all go.
Rumors were started,
but none of them were true.
You sat there in astonishment
not knowing what to do.
I called you that night
to explain what was going on,
You didn't say much,
not even that I was wrong.
I said I was sorry,
and would never do it again.
We are still not as good of friends
as we were back then.
I still feel bad
for what happened in the past.
And that is what took our friendship
away so fast...
