Beautiful Dream
I had a beautiful dream
That I wish would have lasted forever.
It took place with you and I
Sitting under the stars, alone together.
We were holding hands,
Whispering in each others ears.
Said how much we loved one another
And talked about our secrets and fears.
We counted the stars,
Stared at the moon,
Hoped and prayed the sun wouldn't come up soon;
Kissed and hugged and looked for the milky way.
The night went by so fast,
We just had so many things to say.
When the sun came up,
You slowly started to disappear.
I said to myself, 'how can this happen,'
When you were just here?
I opened my eyes and realized,
It was a dream...
Then, I prayed to God,
To give me another beautiful dream
