MY HEART WAS STOLEN BY INTERNET LOVE
My heart was stolen by internet love.
I thought this one was my true love.
I trusted him with my heart and soul.
But when he left me, my world turned cold.
I found myself staring at the walls,
Keeping the phone near, so I wouln't miss his call.
Every day I searched the internet, trying to find his name.
Seemed like he was never there; it was all a game.
If I could take back all the feelings I had for this guy,
I wouldn't use a box of tissue when I cry.
The pain he gave me I could hardly bear,
So tell me how come the love I felt for him is somehow still there?.
What could I do?. I couldn't just turn it off.
Every time I closed my eyes I heard his voice in my house.
I tried to talk to him by calling his phone,
But the machine always picked up, saying he wasn't not at home.
I even wrote to him at his e-mail address,
But it was like he read what he wanted and deleted the rest.
I prayed every night asking GOD why he couldn't be the one,
So I wouldn't waste my time sitting there looking dumb.
GOD said, Don't worry child, I wouldn't give you more than you can bear.
Just remember when all your ways fail, I'm still there.
I knew what GOD wanted, so I gave him what he asked,
and by that next day I had my internet love back.
