MY ONE TRUE LOVE

By: william gregory redding

The first time I saw your eyes I was in love with you
Taken by surprise I didn't know what to do
You sparked a little flame that turned into a fire
There's nothing else my heart desires

Now I'm in a place I can call my own
The queen of my castle there's no more being alone
We'll rule this kingdom any way we see
No one can tell us what to do, who we are and where we should be

I spent my life searching for this love
And now that you're here, I thank the one above
Come with me, let me take you home
I promise I'll cherish the moment I've been waiting for, so long

Travel to a place to be alone and free
To share and talk about being together, ever so happily
I want to take your hand and show you things you've never imagined
To have you on a bed of roses- most times I wish it could happen.
