Lover's Paradise

By: Lanette Gambrell

Amongst the evergreens, beneath the shade of trees.
Just you and me renounce ourselves from the outside world to see.
Along the riverbank, the crystal waters flow.
Across each and every pebble, then down the falls below.

Butterflies float softly by then on their way they go.
Peacefully, yet undisturbed just as if to know.
Our love we give so tenderly, our hearts truly endeavor.
If to leave this splendid paradise, our choice would be to never.
