One Love, But No Love?
I sit up at night remembering
your face so bright.
It was like heaven to be near
you to see you.
I miss those times so wonderful
they're so vivid in my mind.
I thought for awhile maybe he's
not the one.
Others came and went and signs
all over led me back to you.
That now I know you have be
with me everday for eternity.
My conversations start or end
with your name.
I dare not go a day without
thinking of you.
And not one day has passed
that I haven't.
'Cause it is you that I love
and need by my side forevermore.
You may think that I am too young,
too ugly, too fat, too skinny,
too pretty, too sweet, or even too mean.
But times change- they come and go and
soon someone will be in the future that way.
Just hopefully it is me.
