Garden of Eden

By: Avery Robertson

I saw the secrets in your eyes,
the growing of passion
rushing over you,
I feel it with you.
Sorrows are forgotten
in the desires shared
and given in this union.
I am adrift in the sea of you,
My hunter,
You are the ancient one
that calls to me
from times long ago.
In joy I cried at my release,
gripped by strong arms,
and the smell of love, of you.
I have descended
from the golden heavens
into the dusky gray-blues of night.
Your Queen, at your knee
I stay.
A heart unprotected
given with abandon,
such freedom.
Are you mine?
Brief thoughts banished,
inside the taste of you.
You, my judge, reigns
in this realm
in which we are consumed.
A touch, a kiss
and I am covered with magic.
Again I offer my flesh
in this garden,
called Eden.
