i ask myself why...
you broke my heart...
why i didn't see it coming...
why i still like you...
why i put up with all this pain...
why i didn't listen to my friends
when they told me not to trust you...
why i feel the way i do about you...
why you lied to me?
but the thing that i ask myself the most is...
can there be an "us?"
because i know that that is what i want
even after all the pain.
