Annette
by David Keith Jennings

I can see your smile in the midnight skies
taste your breath in the morning breeze

in an autumn's rain, I can hear your sighs
as it whispers through the trees

I feel northern winds brush through my hair
and dream of you, my dear

when a birdsong breaks the springtime air
I can almost feel you here

I can feel your touch on a winter's night
sending chills running down my spine

in the arms of you, everything is so right
in my heart you will always be mine

I can feel your love lighting up my life
hear your voice as angels sing

I won't rest, Annette, 'til you?re my wife
my love...my everything
