Sweet Memories
by Michael David Coffey

Of you,
sweet memories
in my mind
As I watch her
rhythmic dancing
Gyrating, pulsating
movements on
wooden dance floor
The girl's body sways
and swings, a melody
Of loving
Youthful energy,
sensual vibrations
It reminds me of you
Your youthful vigor
in the day, the night
Images of other times
So vivid now, making
me wish I was
with you
Vibrations, gyrations
on a night club
dance floor
Carrying me away
to you
Into your youthfulness
Those times when,
minds mingled,
in love's passion play
Away in the distant
lands of enchantment
Where angels tread
And each day was
a new chapter
In loving games
discovering new
rhythms in
love's play
