Until Then
by Hazel Mae Kalena

Touch of the wild wind, so charged with you,
if i had never known your face at all
and had only heard you speak
your voice would have been enough,
to call yourself before me like a spark
of the fire storm raging tender fury

my heart beats like the drums in the wilderness
reaching for the paradise of love
that's in every fiber of my being
whirling deep inside like spirals of rapture
that hungers more than i have thought ever possible

but for now i know that upon this night and every night
i will be with you in my dreams until the day comes
and the time will be right, so we can hold on to each other
until then we have no choice but to struggle
and join together on this adventure of waiting
and rely on our strength to keep us strong

can we do it
yes we can
