Alone
by Coley Marie Curtis

I do not sleep, I cannot eat,
it is as though I am electrically
wired to think and weep.

I am undoubtedly alone now,
although I don't completely
understand why or how.

I am searching and I feel so lost.
In the end, MY true love
had no worth, no cost.
