Sweet Nuptials
by Demetrius  Gwyn

I love you, my darling, for life is you. The reality
of you is in the essence of my being. Gloriously
blazing in my loins are love's passions and a candle
to my internal spirit.

You banish my hurt and conceive the melody of my
lips. I sing of you night and day, thanking heaven
for the theme you give to my emotions. I dedicate to
you the autobiography of my message to my dearest
soul's companion.

You are the loveliness in me.

Is the 'Archer of Love' aiming his bow at us, for I've
been penetrated with the harpoons of love. I've been
captured at the first sighting of my precious gem.
I cherish you as the breath I whisper to you; the
poetry of my heart.

Let my words bring us to embraces of silk, the silk
around this man from the touch of your hands.
I dance from the songs -- the mentioning of your
name which possesses sweet nuptials. Marry me,
my love.
