Trapped
by Kristina  Hansen

Trapped in my own world,
So far away from everyone,
Alone, Scared,
I search, but I find nothing,
Nothing but my feelings.
Everything begins to rip through me.
Torn to pieces,
I wait to be rescued,
Pulled out of this place,
Brought back to sanity, reality,
To be held in your arms,
Told I'll be ok.
But my dreams are nothing but dreams.
I have to live with it;
No one can help me now,
Nothing anyone does.
I'm stuck here,
With no way out.
If only I could be alive
To breathe again,
To love, to be loved,
If only I could hold you,
One last time,
I'd be saved.
Instead, I'm here,
By myself,
A deep dark world
With no light.
