Second Glance
by Dana Lauren Tapper

I watch you silently;
 you don?t even know I?m there.
I'm becoming familiar with your habits,
 you smoothly run your fingers through your hair.
Your eyes wander cautiously,
 through your lips a smile peeks.
You catch my eye accidentally,
 neither of us speaks.
I wander over towards you;
 I think I?m in a trance.
You look at me openly;
 your eyes seem to dance.
This is it;
 it just may be my chance.
First kiss, first love, our future...
 all because of a second glance.
