Lust or Love
by Candice Noel Lott

I saw you just the other day
You had a look of love in your eyes
Now it's gone away
The only look you have now,
Is the one of a friend.
Are we growing apart?
Is it that you love her more?
Was I not enough like her to keep you happy?
Where did I go wrong?
I don't know how to deal with loss
But if tonight I lose you,
Then you will know why.
For it's her you love
But me you lust
So I hope tonight you let me know
Just who it is you love
'Cause if I'm holding on to nothing
Then I do not want to stay.
