A Dream Dreamt
by Prem  Antony

I heard the finest words of my life
And we sipped each others' heart

My eyes saw the beauty as close as never before
Our spirits clamored

As dews spilled over my lip unexplained
And space vacuumed between us.

Her compassion nurtured mine
As we crossed our paths

For an estranged voyage
And squeezed the kiss of fidelity

I wished to embrace myself on her lap
To kiss and kill my breath to death.

The title has an untold significance.
The three words were felt by her.
