LEFT BEHIND
by Valerie  Winkle

LIKE A CANDLE, THE FLAME HAS DIED
I TRY TO HIDE THE PAIN INSIDE
SARCASM... THAT'S THE WAY
I USE IT IN MY VOCABULARY EVERYDAY
YOU WALK AROUND LIKE YOU DON'T CARE
YOUR LOVE, YOU NO LONGER SHARE
OR DID YOU LOVE ME?
THAT'S THE QUESTION
TO STAY AWAY WAS YOUR SUGGESTION
IT'S SO VERY HARD TO DO
DON'T YOU SEE, I STILL LOVE YOU?

I'M SORRY YOU LIVE SUCH A MISERABLE LIFE
FACE IT BABE, IT'S FULL OF PAIN AND STRIFE

LONELINESS ONE DAY YOU WILL FIND
BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS LEAVE THE ONE'S
WHO REALLY LOVE YOU BEHIND
