Jesse
by Contasha  May

I know that you love me,
This I can see,
But don't get too serious,
You can't stay with me.

You have all these dreams,
You want a big family.
This will never happen
If you stay with me.

You know my story,
You're part of my life.
I could be a good mother,
But not a good wife.

You say you want to be with me,
"Forever" is what you say.
We both know forever
Can be any day.

I know you say you love me,
This everyone can see.
I can't believe it,
You love your truck more than me.

Don't get too happy,
You know this will end.
I'm a true player,
Or do you think they're my friends?

I know your story,
And I know your past.
I still don't believe
This relationship will last

Don't get too serious,
Just look and see.
Nobody will ever be just like you,
Not to me.
