My Lucky Star
by Eddy Quinton Perret, Sr.

I say that I'm lucky
The luckest man it the world
And I'll tell you why
Well, you see, I have this girl.

She is everything to me
She is why I am lucky, you see
In times of trouble
She's always there for me.

She understands
So special to me- a one-of a-kind
When I'm at the end of my rope
She tells me she'll always be mine.

I've made a lot of mistakes
And I'm not perfect-- by far
But even in the darkest of times
I look up and there you are... My lucky star.
