We Walked Away From Us
by Nicole Elizabeth LeCouter

Today we walked away from us,
away from you and me,
to you separate from me for lust.
We didn't talk until you said goodbye.
Why don't I understand why?
I smiled and I cried,
I found out you lied.
Now that my soul is dead,
and all the blood I had is bled,
I just wish I could have said
what I should have said,
but I can't, because my cries stop me.
Just remember,
your love with your heart...
and us apart
is all we'll ever see...
cause there's no more you and me,
no more you and me.
