Hoping
by Ralph Lamarr Clark

    My heart is aching,
    tired of giving
    and not receiving
    a commitment
    from you.

    You've been
    playing games,
    teasing,
    a heart
    filled with love.

    I'll pick
    up the pieces
    and move on
    with my life.

    Hoping,
    one day,
    you'll find
    someone you'll love,
    I wish it could've
    been me.
